Sebastian Adamo completed his architectural graduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires and postgraduate studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya. He is Dean’s Visiting Professor at Columbia University GSAPP. In the past he was Visiting Professor at the School of Architecture of Torcuato Di Tella University, at the School of Architecture of Princeton University and at the Polytechnic University of Milan. He was invited to lecture at numerous institutions including the Canadian Centre for Architecture, the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Porto Academy, the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, the École Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne, the Polytechnic School of Architecture in Madrid, among others.
Together with Marcelo Faiden they lead adamo-faiden, an architecture firm established in Buenos Aires since 2005. Their practice extends to the field of teaching and research, and has been internationally recognized by different media and institutions. Their works were exhibited at the Sao Paulo Architecture Biennial, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the LIGA Architecture gallery in Mexico, the Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt, the Storefront for Art & Architecture in New York, and Princeton University School of Architecture. The production of the office has been published in six monographic books, including: A+U Architecture and Urbanism Magazine N. 2024:10 published in Japan, 2G N.91 published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther Koning in Germany, Prospectiva 1 published by TC Cuadernos in Spain, Arianuova 26 published by Casa Editrice Libria in Italy, and Series Obra published by ARQ Ediciones from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
