Tenement Talk: Andrew Dolkart’s Biography of a Tenement

So often biographies are devoted to famous people, but architectural historian Andrew Dolkart has captured the fascinating story of 97 Orchard Street (now home to the Tenement Museum) over the course of its century-long history in his Biography of a Tenement House in New York City. In celebration of the book’s reissue, New York Times critic Michael Kimmelman joins Dolkart for mini tours, conversation, a reception, and book signing. Books will also be available for purchase during the program.
