Join us for a presentation and discussion with Helsinki-based architect and urban designer Arvind Ramachandran, current Architect-in-Residence at the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York.

Arvind’s work with the City of Helsinki’s placemaking program focuses on empowering underrepresented communities to improve their local public spaces.

This free event welcomes everyone, no background in design required. We’ll explore how communities shape small public spaces, sharing stories from Helsinki, New York, and beyond.  Participants are free to join in ways that feel best to them, whether as a listener or as an active participant in the discussion.

(Doors open at 5:30 PM; a short presentation will begin at 6:00 PM.)
