Stop by the Center for Architecture during the month of Archtober to explore Head Hi's selection of architecture and design publications, curated specifically around this year's festival theme, Shared Spaces.
We are eager to announce an exciting collaboration taking place during this year's Archtober festival—Head Hi, New York's premiere architecture and design-focused bookstore, will be opening a month-long pop-up at the Center for Architecture!
Head Hi is a cultural organization bridging architecture, design and art via projects, reading materials, and public programming, with a storefront in Brooklyn's Fort Greene neighborhood. Its Archtober pop-up will feature books and design objects for sale as well as weekly events including book launches, talks, and the New York Architecture & Design Book Club gathering! Head Hi will spotlight recently released architecture publications, specially selected to celebrate Archtober’s 2025 theme of Shared Spaces and the ongoing commitment to deepening our relationships with the places we inhabit.
International guest program participants for the Head Hi in the City Pop Up at Center for Architecture include Montreal based studio Daily tous les jours, The New York Architecture & Design Book Club organized in collaboration with design journal Untapped, Mexico City based cultural platform Proyector, Irish photographer Rich Gilligan, architecture firm WORKac, and more! Stay tuned, the full schedule will be announced soon. The pop up space at 532 Laguardia Place will be designed in collaboration with New York based architectural lighting designers Studio Atomic and Dooor Milan.
