In addition to highlighting exciting, impactful new design and development ranging from skyscrapers to open spaces, this presentation will examine new and ongoing efforts to address equity and economic vitality in the neighborhoods. With the reckoning brought by the coronavirus pandemic, 2020 was a time for architects and local leaders to respond forcefully to crisis and opportunity. What role will design play in getting our city back on track in 2021 and beyond?
