Join us for the summer installment of Subtle Bodies: Self-Reflection Through Aura Photography. Midway through the year, we’ll reflect on our aura’s evolution over the past six months and what we want to continue to bring in for the remainder of the year. As in previous workshops, we will work with writing prompts and energy exercises to help us better understand the individual colors present in our aura portraits.
All are welcome to attend. Prior workshop participation is not necessary.
About the Program
Once a season, we will gather at Alice Austen House to sit for portraits made with the AuraCam6000, a specialized camera system that uses touch sensors to reveal radiant aura fields around the body. The physical readings from someone’s hands produce an image that is entirely unique to each individual.
As a group, we will discuss and interpret the colors present in our portraits and what meaning they may hold in our current lives. Each workshop session will include time for self-reflective journaling, thoughtful writing prompts based on your latest aura portrait, and a mindfulness exercise. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own journals through a guided book-making session during our first meeting. This workshop meets quarterly throughout 2026, led by AAH educator Kristen Bartley.
Workshop Fee: $30 per workshop. Check back for registration link.
