Join Nicholas Lowry of Swann Auction Galleries and Angelina Lippert, Poster House’s Executive Director & Curator, for a cocktail-infused tour of Visit Czechoslovakia! The Story of Czech Travel Posters at the Czech Center New York

Guests will enjoy specialty Czech cocktails curated by Don Spiro of the Green Fairy Society and Nicho and Angelina’s witty insights on posters from a golden age of Czechoslovakian history. Encompassing traditional folk imagery and avant-garde design, these posters tell the story of a newly formed country crafting its national image. Grab a drink and come along for the ride!

Visit Czechoslovakia! The Story of Czech Travel Posters is presented in conjunction with Poster House’s exhibition From Monarchy to Modernity: Travel, Identity, & the Czechoslovak First Republic (1918–1938), on view from April 23 to November 1, 2026.

Ticket price includes three custom-made cocktails. This series is generously supported by Don Lebowitz and Claudia Wagner.

Because of the nature of this event, registration is limited to those age 21 and up.
