Trailer

MUNDO FRÁGIL is a road movie that takes artist-filmmakers Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine across Chile with architect Smiljan Radić, from the Atacama Desert to the Cordillera mountains. Known for their anthropological and often humorous approach to architectural subjects, Bêka & Lemoine turn their lens on one of Latin America's most singular architectural minds: a Chilean of Croatian heritage whose work refuses easy categorization, threading together primitive construction logic, sculptural thinking, and a deep attunement to landscape and material. Winner of the 2026 Pritzker Architecture Prize, Radić has long worked out of an intentionally small Santiago practice, producing buildings that move between the rough and the delicate, the geological and the handmade. The Chilean terrain becomes the frame through which the film asks how place, myth, and physical matter shape an architect's imagination. (ADFF)
