Join us for a children’s workshop about identifying and foraging wild edible plants growing in Brooklyn. The workshop will include a wildcrafting activity using the plants harvested!

This is a free event and requires registration. As a gentle reminder, this workshop is intended exclusively for children, and adults' participation is limited to chaperoning roles only. Please only register for the amount of children participating in this workshop.

ABOUT ALY FROM GLAM GARDENER NYC:

Aly Stoffo is a wild-foods forager, outdoor and sustainability educator, herbal product maker, and owner of Glam Gardener NYC: a business offering healing herbal products, art, and eco-education.

She’s taught thousands of kids and adults through Glam Gardener NYC about foraging, the outdoors, and wildcrafting.

Aly has been a lover of nature for a lifetime! Growing up and residing in Staten Island, NYC, she brings outdoor education to the city, showing folks that we can rejoice in the outdoors no matter how urban our environment is.

Aly has a background and education in Sustainability Solutions from Arizona State University. She can identify over 200 regional wild-growing edible and medicinal plants. Glam Gardener NYC is an outdoor education partner for the NYC Department of  Transportation and a variety of museums and nonprofits across NYC.
