MAS is celebrating design excellence in New York City with our 2021 MASterworks Awards! We have curated a selection of in-person explorations and online conversations with this year’s honored projects.
On Wednesday, October 27, 4:30 - 6:00 PM, join MAS for a guided stroll around Prospect Park’s recent capital projects, featuring the Endale Arch, 2021 MASterwork winner for Best Restoration. Embark on an exploration of the park’s built and natural spaces with Prospect Park Alliance staff, including Christian Zimmerman (Vice President, Capital and Landscape Management), Svetlana Ragulina (Landscape Architect), and Alden Maddry (Senior Architect).
Attendees will learn about Endale Arch, one of Prospect Park’s oldest architectural elements. Acting as a safe passage below the Park Drive, the historic arch was beautifully restored in 2020. In addition to Endale Arch, we will move south through the park to stop at the New Flatbush Entrance and end at the newly restored Concert Grove Pavilion.

Archtober is New York City’s Architecture and Design Month, an annual festival of architecture activities, programs, and exhibitions taking place during the month of October.
