MAS is celebrating design excellence in New York City with our 2021 MASterworks Awards! We have curated a selection of in-person explorations and online conversations with this year’s honored projects.
On October 21st from 5:00-6:30, join MAS for an exploration of Pier 26 at Hudson River Park, 2021 MASterworks winner for Best Urban Landscape. Learn about one of the newest editions to Hudson River Park by enjoying a guided stroll led by members of OLIN Studio. Team members include Lucinda Sanders, Jamee Kominsky, Demetrios Staurinos, and Carrie Roble.
The 2.5-acre pier is an exciting and lush ecological escape that evokes what Manhattan’s ecosystem was like prior to human-development. By introducing you to the five native ecological zones flourishing within the park, this program will engage you in both the history and ecology of the Hudson River Estuary.

Archtober is New York City’s Architecture and Design Month, an annual festival of architecture activities, programs, and exhibitions taking place during the month of October.
