Reusable Solutions works to eradicate single use plastics and transition society to a sustainable economy. Founder Ben Kogan works with brands to establish reuse strategies and NGOs advocating to stem the crisis. He’ll discuss the problems of our throwaway lifestyle and the limitations of recycling, and suggest practical, effective changes to get us on the road to zero waste. Zero waste is doable and it is a must for a livable future. This program is part of the Hunters Point Library Environmental Center, which is made possible by the Newtown Creek Environmental Benefit Fund, administered by City Parks Foundation and funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
