The Vanderbilts, the Astors, the Clarks and the Fricks are just a few of the notable New York families who once resided on Manhattan’s fashionable Fifth Avenue. Untapped New York’s Chief Experience Officer Justin Rivers will take guests on a stroll along Fifth Avenue reliving how it was during the Gilded Age when grand mansions of millionaires lined the illustrious street. As you revisit Millionaire’s Row, you will discover works of architecture lost to time and some that remain today with the new purpose of education, public service and community building. The tour will end with a look inside 1014 Fifth Avenue where you are invited to immerse yourself in a gilded age mansion while experiencing its new exhibition 1014: Past & Future. Justin Rivers leads Untapped New York’s experience department, creating and delivering some of its most popular tours including the Underground Tour of the NYC Subway, the Remnants of Dutch New Amsterdam, and the Remnants of Penn Station tour. His mission continues to be creating and leading unique experiences that help New Yorkers and visitors alike rediscover their city. He has lived in New York City for over 20 years and is a graduate of Fordham University. Accessibility Statement: Unfortunately, 1014 Fifth Avenue needs to be refurbished and is not fully accessible in its current stage.
